Cathedral hill
Cerro Catedral is a mountain located in San Carlos de Bariloche, 19 kilometers from the city center and within the National Park Nahuel Huapi, in Argentina. It is the largest ski center in South America and the Southern Hemisphere.
The northeast slope of the mountain has been developed as a ski center for mountain activities, with numerous means of ascent mechanics, service areas and hotels.
The southernmost section of the Cathedral is highlighted by a series of stone needles that gave the name to the mountain and is the scene of an important activity of rock climbing, mainly in summer.
Center with open base throughout the year; offers 600 ha for skiing and snowboarding, and 38 chair lifts.
The ticket price to get to the top of the hill in high season is $1.135 for adults and $945 for children (argentinian money).
